Josh was one of Crosswinds Aviation first High School program participants. He completed his Private Pilot license as a Senior at Howell High School in exactly 40.0 hours, while also completing his Eagle Scout. Josh then continued on to Northwestern Michigan College and graduated in the spring of 2017 with an associate degree in Flight Technology. Taking his EAA Young Eagle flight at a young age confirmed his love of aviation.
The freedom of flying clears his mind and keeps Josh passionate about aviation. Sharing the gift of flight is something he gains joy from.
What Josh would say to an aspiring pilot:
“Enjoying training while being engaged and motivated to complete is one of the most important elements.”
The Crosswinds Difference
The training process is well structured. It makes studying easy and efficient. The instructors come from diverse backgrounds and excel at preparing new pilots for a professional career. The fleet is well maintained with minimal down time.
Josh wants to become an airline pilot once his ATP minimums are achieved. He would also like to explore the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle service industry.
“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.”
