CFI

Pricing: $47/hour, $5 IFR/Adv Premium, $5 Non-fleet Aircraft Premium

Aiden graduated from Northwestern Michigan College in the spring of 2016 with an associate of Applied Sciences of Aviation.  At the age of about 13 he had always liked airplanes.  On a layover in ATL,  he had the advantage of sitting in the cockpit with a pilot, he knew at that moment, flying was for him.

Aiden enjoys the challenging aspects of flying and gaining ratings.  Using that knowledge gained and passing it on to his students is one of his main joys. Watching students applying the knowledge makes for proud moments.

What Aiden would say to an aspiring pilot:

“Having the right attitude toward learning is key. Enjoying aviation while keeping safety a top priority.”

The Crosswinds Difference

Having gone to different flight schools, usually they were not as structured and they were flying antiquated aircraft. Crosswinds offers up to date aircraft and owners who genuinely care about their student’s success. The management goes out of their way to make sure all client’s needs are met.

The staff gets along well and they use each other as resources to better the learning experience for clients.

Our location gives us superb options for the complete training experiences.  We have larger airspace, like Detroit as well as smaller more rural areas that work well for a complete training environment. “You’re guaranteed to learn how to land with crosswinds at Crosswinds.”

Aiden is planning on heading to the regional airlines once he leaves Crosswinds.  His end goal is getting into a major airline with the potential of having some international routes.
